The best products do not just impress on day one. They stay exceptional every time you use them.
With the new Beo Grace earbuds, Bang & Olufsen extends that standard of quality all the way to the battery.
At Breathe, we have partnered with Bang & Olufsen to integrate our adaptive charging software, Breathe Charge, into Beo Grace. In internal testing, the earbuds delivered more than 2,000 charging cycles, around four times the typical lifespan of wireless earbuds.
When batteries last, products stay exceptional, users stay delighted, and fewer resources go to waste. That is luxury built to endure.
Battery performance, by design
Traditional charging relies on static tables, a one size fits all approach that does not reflect the way batteries really behave. As batteries age, those fixed rules create a damaging feedback loop, charging them in ways that accelerate wear and shorten their life.
Breathe Charge takes a different approach. Using real time physics-based modelling, it monitors electrode potentials and internal states of the battery second by second, adjusting the charging current at every moment. That precision prevents lithium plating, the silent culprit behind capacity fade, and protects the battery’s long term health.
In simple terms: the battery learns and adapts as you do, extending service life without compromising safety or performance.
Bang & Olufsen’s new Beo Grace earbuds
A collaboration built on craft and control
Bang & Olufsen has always set the standard for sound and design. By integrating adaptive charging, Beo Grace brings the same attention to detail to the battery, ensuring the listening experience stays at its best, charge after charge.
This collaboration brings together more than a century of audio craftsmanship with the science of software defined batteries.
A shift that’s happening fast
From smartphones with OPPO, to electric vehicles with Volvo, and now to premium audio with Bang & Olufsen, leading companies are recognising that software is becoming a key differentiator in battery performance.
The Beo Grace earbuds will be available from 17 November 2025. And for the people who choose them, their battery will be ready to perform long into the future.
